Overview

Costume Customization is an extra Cosmetic feature where players can change the default colors of EPIC & LEGENDARY skins.

To start customizing, you must first purchase the required costume to unlock the corresponding Chromas. Then, once acquiring a desired palette, changes will be applied to the Hero's in-game model, as well as their Cinematic Intro, MVP, and Emotes.

Currently, only a select few costumes will have this feature, though more will be gradually added over time.

How To Acquire

Once you are able to acquire the customizable costume of your choosing, head to the [Heroes] tab and select the chosen character's profile. Go to [Cosmetics → Costumes] and click on the costumes, where you are then given the option to CUSTOMIZE it.

Remember, NOT ALL COSTUMES HAVE THIS FEATURE. So to determine which ones are eligible, go to the game store and look at the full list of purchasable costumes or bundles. If their banner has this icon → , then a Chroma is available.

Pricing

The standard price for a single Chroma is 600 Unstable Molecules.

Unstable Molecules can be obtained from BattlePasses & Events, or players can use their Lattice, and exchange it at a 1:1 rate.

Other Customizations

Ultimate Ability VFX

Ultimate Ability VFX are cosmetic enhancements that modify the visual presentation of a hero’s ultimate ability by adding unique effects such as altered colors, particle animations, and additional visual flourishes. They are purely cosmetic and have no impact on gameplay mechanics, damage, or performance. Each Ultimate Ability VFX is exclusively tied to a specific Legendary Costume and cannot be equipped independently or transferred between different skins. The standard cost for unlocking an Ultimate Ability VFX is 600, making them a personalized way for players to stylize their ultimate abilities.

Style Parts

Style Parts are collectible cosmetic components that allow players to customize the appearance of certain costumes by unlocking alternate style variations, such as different clothing or accessories. Purchasing a costume automatically grants the default style option, while additional style parts can typically be unlocked for 300 each (excluding a removable option).
